Kenya: Ikaria Police Department’s uptight, hero hearted detective. Kenya’s dedication to maintaining peace in Ikaria City earned him the title of detective at a young age. In fact he’s so efficient at his job that he often works alone, without the help of a partner; not because he wants to of course, he was just the only detective to survive the last round of budget cuts and layoffs. Despite Kenya’s shameless addiction to coffee and doughnuts, his friendly, kindhearted demeanor makes him well liked amongst the others at the station. But will his kind heart prove to be a fatal flaw as he pursues his toughest challenge yet: the elusive Phantom Thief Scarlet?
Marina: The secretary/receptionist at the Ikaria Police Department. Marina hates her lousy life and her even lousier job. But as a recent college graduate with no real experience, deep debt and bad credit there aren't that many doors open to her. Fortunately, her long time friend Kenya was there to help her land a job at the police station… even though the hours and pay really suck. Marina spends most of her time answering phones, filing papers and dealing with irate citizens; all while being suffocated by her mounting feelings of frustration. Thankfully, she has her…interesting… late night hobby to help fill the void.
Scarlet: The mysterious thief plaguing the city of Ikaria. Scarlet earned the title ‘Phantom Thief’ from her ability to seemingly disappear from the scene of the crime. Her behavior has completely baffled the Ikarian police force because unlike most thieves, Scarlet doesn’t seem interested in material gains. The TVs are never taken, the family jewels untouched and yet her victims are left behind twisted and broken. Your designer bag or your new smart phone isn’t enough to satisfy our master thief, only your heart’s greatest treasure will do.
